Very Good

Installed on MT-09 ToRacer, it was warm & hellip;

I've been thinking about getting a Grip heater for a while now because I'm a bit of a motorcycle addict and my fingertips get cold easily.
But if you look at any of the Tracer blogs, you'll see that the "YamahaOEMGrip heater is warm" "easy to install" …
I know that …,, I know that but it's too expensive! (20,000 yen)

So I quickly eliminated it as a candidate. (There's more reasons than just price, though.) I did, and asked a lot of questions to the shop assistant while laddering the shop. "There are a lot of things like DAYNA and EFFX, but KIJIMA is the warmest. I'm glad it's half the price of OEM …

I know it's been a long time coming, but I'd like to talk about some of the important points and things I've worked on ↓↓
Grip length of the ToRacer is 130mm (Just a little bit longer.) So be careful! (NORMAL09 seems to be 120mm)
When removing the grip end, the 12mm Hexagonal Wrench is essential! Without it, you can't attach the grip.

~Installation
Basically, it was almost identical to the OEM installation shown on other people's blogs.

Remove the Knuckle guard. (Don't lose the Washer or other small parts!) 。
Connect the wire directly to the Grip and set the Level MAX for about 5 minutes to warm up the Grip.
Remove the Bar End with 12mmWrench.
Screw the Compressor or Perc into the space between the Grip and Handlebar, blow, and pull the Grip out while twisting.
If there is glue on the Handlebar, clean it with percuri and let it dry.
Put Cemedine's SUPERX2 etc. and heat-resistant adhesive on the base of Grip, and screw it to Handlebar to fix the position of the cord.
Especially on the Throttle side, be careful not to let the cord hit the lever when fully open.
After deciding the angle, the next step is to wire ↓

〜Wiring Edition
Note that this is completely different from OEM from here. (My Wiring may not be helpful, so I'll explain it in a large general way, please understand …)
I thought it would be better to put Coupler and Relay in the place of Fuse box which can be protected from rain.:1 Set of 4pcs. for your eyes…
I might as well have done a Waterproof Cover on the Coupler and put only the Relay with the Fuse in the Fuse box location.
The power supply is borrowed from the Wiring of Rear brake with the Electra tap of Plus.
The Minus Round Type Terminal is fixed to the Gold part of the Bolt at the body ground.
If you use Electra tap, it may become Trouble of the electric system, and the power consumption is large scale.

〜Try it.
As for the gloves used, it is the synthetic fiber back bristle winter gloves of about 5000 yen or less in the jungle, and Inner Gloves for summer of Komine. (I sweat a lot.)
・ (5th photo) I think it's sometimes hard to get the RightBlinker out because it's stuck on the bottom of the Grip's Button… you'll get used to it…
If the temperature is about 5°C, the palms of your hands will be sweaty at Level5. (Because I'm cold?) And it's not cold.
It is cold when it is 4°C or less, but there is no particular obstacle in the brake operation etc.
If it's colder than that, your hands will slow down, but if it's that cold, any equipment will slow you down.

I've heard that there was no name in the list of compatible car models, and there was no track record of installation, but I was able to operate it safely, and I got a comfortable Ride at a reasonable price!
The OEM version seems to be much easier as it has many Merits such as the temperature Level can be adjusted with the Monitor and the Wiring is just plugging in the Coupler.
If you're wondering if you can put a external grich on your Racers, I'd be happy to help you out.
